Education for Ministry
EFM is a program developed by the School of Theology at the University of the South at
Sewanee. As all Christians are called by nature of their baptism to ministry, this four year study
is designed to help us identify and prepare for our ministries. Participants commit for one year
at a time. Over the course of four years, we study the Old Testament, New Testament, church
history and theology. We meet on Tuesday evenings for three hours in the Walker building. Currently we have 12 students enrolled representing all four years of study. EFM has proven to
be a life changing experience.
