UPCOMING EVENTS:
LENT INFORMATION: Stations of the Cross will be held in the Church at 12:15 pm each Friday of Lent and at 3 pm on Good Friday. Lenten services each weekday at 7 am in the Chapel through March 26th.
SPRING FORWARD: As you may know spring is headed our way. In addition, to a great expected change in the weather we most importantly don't want to forget about spring forward. On March 13th, we will move our clocks forward a hour officially beginning Daylights Saving Time.
BACH CONCERT: Dr. Young-Hyun Cho, Pianist concert will be March 15th at 7:30 pm in the church. Young-Hyun has won many awards and has performed world wide. This concert is made possible by a grant from the McCormick-Smith Fund and is free to the public.
EASTER MEMORIAL: It is custom at St. James to invite our parish family to make a contribution to the glory of God and in memory or in honor of loved ones. This is not only an appropriate way to honor those who have gone before us, but these gifts make it possible to decorate the Cathedral in a festive manner. If you wish to make a donation, please send your check along with the name or names you wish to commemorate to the attention of Mary Vermaelen no later than March 26, 2010.
EASTER EGG HUNT: Children’s Christian Education group will be organizing an Easter egg hunt on Easter morning. We need Easter eggs. Specifically, we need plastic eggs, filled with pre-wrapped candy. Please bring your donations to Fr. Mike’s office. Also, please call if you have any questions. Thank you!
OUTREACH COMMITTEE: The Outreach Committee's Project for March is Caring with CLASS (Central LA Aids Support Services). In the parish hall you will find a display with pictures of items needed by CLASS. Please remove the item or items you will donate and once you have purchased the item/items, place them in the blue crate located under the CLASS display. This project will run through Easter Day, April 4, and we hope each and every one of you will purchase one or more of the personal items needed to help CLASS.
SUPPER CLUB: Join us for the Supper Club. The cost of $37.41 includes the salad, entrée, dessert, soft drinks or tea, tax and gratuity and is to be prepaid to the church office before the event. Signup sheets are in the Parish Hall. Come and enjoy the fellowship!

SUNDAY ADULT FORUM: The Adult Forum asks the critical question -“Who do you say Jesus is”? We shall attempt to answer this question by considering Jesus - the Teacher, the Preacher, the Miracle Worker, the Outraged, the Servant of all, the Sacrificed, and the Savior. Join us in the Parlor at 9:15 am. See you then.
CURATE'S CLASS: The curate’s class is now studying James Lloyd Breck: Apostle of the Wilderness during Lent. When there is a death, or you or a loved one is ill or enters the hospital, please call the parish office. If the office is closed you may call the clergy at home.
