In fact, whether encountered at church or in the community at large, our St. James acquaintances have proven among the most open and engaging of Central Louisianans. A motto found on some St. James' literature reads in part: "St. James Episcopal Church.a church. of hope". Often, the sermons have glimpsed the treasure of God's grace available to us through Jesus' death and resurrection. Our confidence in the "hope that will not disappoint", this has much nourished.
